Now I used aluminum duct tape to further seal everything. This is not that grey fabric type duct tape, this stuff is a roll of actual aluminum tape with a very sticky adhesive and a peel off backing paper. I really like this tape and it works great. I used it in all the corners and to seal up any openings anywhere in the fan box and plastic container.


I’m planning on using this booth a lot in the cold winters of the northeast and since I’m ducting this spray booth out a window, I needed to make a panel I could insert in the window to run the ducting through.


I had some ¾” thick Sty-


rofoam panels lying around and used those to make my window panel. I glued two foam boards together with construction adhesive to make them thicker and insulate better. If I didn’t have the foam boards already, I would have pur- chased a foam, exterior house insulation panel from the home improvement store. Those are actually better than what I used, but I used what I had.


sures a 4” diameter circle on the foam panel and cut it out with a key hole saw. That’s a little saw used to make cutouts in dry wall and it worked nicely on the foam board. I then wrapped all the edges of the foam panel with the aluminum duct tape for extra strength.
