Tell us about your store. We have a gaming café which consists of a collection of PCs, and we also offer a wide range of retro games. All the other big chains have dropped retro titles, but we continue to offer goods you won’t find in other stores.
What is the biggest challenge you face? Publishers charging pre- owned games buyers extra for DLC – this will eat away at used game stores. Bonus
in-game guns or characters will soon become vital parts of games, and that’s when we’ll start to feel the pinch.
Do you think Kinect will be a success? Personally I think it’ll be the biggest failure of Q4. Why make gamers jump around when the whole nation is becoming lazier? People want to sit down with some pizza and have long gaming sessions, not move around doing star jumps for hours.
