PJE completes fit out for asset management firm

Gloucester-based PJE Business Solutions (PJE), part of the Bbi Group, has carried out a complete office fit out for asset management firm The Foresight Group, at its 550 sqm offices in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The £200K project included a complete redesign and fit-out of the office space, including room for 35 employees, 3 meeting rooms, a board room and meeting pod.

Damian Guest, of PJE, said: “Foresight is one of a growing number of financial services companies in the country that are working at the top end of their industry. We wanted to create an office which was a reflection of Foresight’s ambitious approach to business, and which showcased their brand.” The company provides asset management services, and specialises in

environmental infrastructure, solar energy and private equity sectors. The move was part of Foresight’s expansion plans, which in recent years has seen the company become the market leader.

PJE has since carried out work at Foresight’s offices in Rome and Jersey, applying the same strong corporate image that was showcased in the Sevenoaks head office.

Damian continued: “This project was challenging – the new office was planned to cover the entire first floor, but with Foresight already occupying one half of the floor, the company had to

remain in situ while work was carried out. This meant that we had to completely fit- out one half of the office, move staff into the new space, then fit-out the remaining side behind temporary screening before joining the two sides together to complete the design.

“We had be 100% focussed on customer requirements, enabling staff to continue to do their jobs whilst we were working, and ensuring the handovers was seamless.

“Without being over-designed, the office has a contemporary and professional look, with touches such as a bespoke carpet design, folding partition walls and a luxury meeting pod. We’ve used environmentally-friendly products wherever

possible, and even carried this process right through to the manifestation detail where a solar panel graphic has been used on the glass meeting rooms.”

PJE has also been appointed to handle the fit-out work for Foresight’s offices in the USA.

PJE is a multi-disciplined company offering a comprehensive range of facilities support services including account management, interior design and space planning, mechanical and electrical design, project management, internal construction, office furniture, corporate signage and consultancy services.
