Te Structure and Asset Management Special Interest Group (SAM SIG), in collaboration with the Liquid Waterproofing Association (LWA), has produced a code of practice for waterproofing of parking structures. Tis can be downloaded from the BPA website. Te group is also
working with the Safer Parking Scheme to produce guidelines for ‘new build’ car parks. Tis will enable architects and designers to better understand the requirements of
care planning and to lobby government for legislation to improve asset management of car parking structures. An information note
