• Visit the Roger Maris Museum in Fargo. This museum was built in New York Yankee outfi elder, Roger Maris’ honor. He is best known for hitting 61 homeruns in 1961, beating Babe Ruth’s previous record. The museum allows guests to relive Maris’ legendary career as he was a native of Fargo. It was opened in 1984 and is located in the West Acres Shopping Center. • In Bismarck, satiate your appetite for adventure as you head to the Dakota Zoo. This zoo is an accredited member of the American Zoo and Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Recreation, education, conservation and science are consistently sought out to achieve the high standards the Dakota Zoo sets for itself.

• Relive the rustic days of the wagon train with Fort Seward, Inc. Every June, a covered wagon train starts in James- town, ND. The trail ride is full of his- tory and is great for making memories.

• Cruise your way down the Missouri Riv- er on the Lewis and Clark Riverboat. Enjoy a serene river ride with friends, family or colleagues during the summer. The vessel holds 150 passengers and is located on the Port of Bismarck.

• Visit the Celebrity Walk of Fame locat- ed at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau. The 100+ celebrity handprints, footprints and signatures include those of Garth Brooks, Neil Diamond, KISS, Debbie Reynolds and Jesse Ventura.
