High School basketball team - the Mitchell Kernels - and the Dakota Wesleyan University Tigers, the Palace is also utilized by area basketball teams for tourna- ments, and by various groups and organizations for concerts, theatrical shows, tradeshows, and banquets. The Palace seats up to 3,250 people for concerts, 2,800 fans for basketball, 875 attendees for banquets, and has 1,772 seats for permanent theatre seating. Sq. ft. ranges from 2,500-10,000.
The Highland Conference Center provides a relaxed productive meeting atmosphere for your guests. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate small meetings for as few as 10, banquets up to 420 and theatre seating for up to 700. The Highland Conference Center is located between the Comfort Inn & Suites and the newly remodeled Hampton Inn. The Ramada Inn & Suites Conference Center has multiple meeting rooms with
seating up to 500 people. The Conference Center can be divided into 8 smaller meeting rooms. There is also a Private Bar available and a large area of poolside meeting space. Amenities include the Dakota Roadhouse Lounge & Restaurant, a 9-hole mini-golf course, indoor pool and game area.
