To blend the bridle and the browns of the horse together I
fogged a mixture of root beer and trans sun gold over both,
this also warmed up the piece. For the two small buckles
used a mix of root beer, yellow and a little marine blue. I
enlarged the eye just a little, pinken’d the corner and used
some root beer and black for the pupil area c/w a white
highlite.

Here is the before and after for the chrome ring I used a me-
dium gray and the shadow color, adding white high lites last.
After spending some time going back over and do-
ing some tweaking to some areas. It was time to
call the owner to pick up the piece. A few things
that they commented on was the coloring was a
perfect match, and how the details exceeded their
expectations.
