MEDUSA TANK
www.kickasskustoms.com
For this tank we started by sanding the surface with 800 wet and dry sandpaper, once cleaned with HOK KC 20
I tack ragged the tanks and then applied three coats of white base coat. After allowing time for it to flash off I am
ready to start this project.

Step 1 & 2: The first thing I do is to sketch out the reference lines with an hb pencil for the women’s face. You don’t
want to go to heavy with the pencil as the lines will show though at the end of the job. After I’m happy with the
layout I apply a light coat of over reduced white base coat to lock the pencil down, this will prevent the pencil lines
smearing if touched.
Step 3: I mix up a mid grey using black, white
and a red blue. This is going to the color for
the whole under painting of the picture.
