Step 16 thru 20: Here you can see I have worked and reworked the entire piece. Adding color and then knocking it
back with my kandy mixtures. Now it’s time for the background to go in. I firstly use clear mask to layover the snakes,
as I need to see where I’m cutting. Once cut out I back mask the rest of the tank with two inch masking tape to prevent
overspray from getting onto the picture underneath. By taking the air cap off the touch up gun it will give me a splatter
effect for the granite background. I use white, black and green to achieve this effect. Once done I apply 2 medium
coats of green Kandy to knock it all back. I airbrush the crack lines of the granite with black and white. Once done I
airbrush the final details into the snakes and run color around the edges to remove the hard lines. The next step is to
apply 3 coats of clear, let it sit for a couple of days, color sand smooth and flow coat.
