The company’s inert recycling business has expanded its extensive fleet of machinery with the purchase of two Terex Finlay 770 Trak Trommels taking the total number to five. managing director of Jack Moody Limited, said: “Over the years we have tried many types of trommels, but for simplicity of use and the delivery of a good product, we use Terex Finlay’s machines. “Our whole business is based on creating quality products and this machinery, coupled with the service and support we receive from Finlay Plant Central, helps us to achieve that. “One is specified with a swivel fines conveyor to maximise stockpiling capacity. It is producing a minus 10mm top soil and a clean recycled 40mm drainage stone. There can be difficulty screening smaller sizes, but the length of the 770’s trommel barrel makes the process more accurate, delivering clean aggregate without
fines. The other new 770 is producing high-grade compost, up to a 10mm size and the level of output is excellent.” The Finlay Group offer one of the most modern and diverse range of material processing equipment available.

Flood alert!
Task Green is a flood barrier
in the form of fencing made from 100% recycled materials which can also be used as a boundary fence, sound barrier and marine decking! Temporary flood protection is attained by embedding one or more boards below ground surface between post lengths. Rapid assembly of panels is achieved by fixing relevant height posts to the embedded base via steel inserts, and then slotting boards into post grooves and tightening with a clamp. Permanent barriers can be assembled using a unique adhesive (supplied). Posts can be angled to achieve curved formations. Dismantling of the panels is just a matter of reversing the process, and they are re-useable for the next adverse forecast. The innovative composite
polymer material is structured with internal cavities, providing great strength, resistance to water, uv deterioration , and most chemicals. The material has a life span of 3 to 10 times that of ordinary timber products,
needs minimal
maintenance, and is recyclable at the end of its useful life. The panels and posts are
robust and aesthetically pleasing, and will be sought after as domestic fencing to protect flood water from entering the property.
