ABUSE OF

A Weaponized DOJ and FBI Targets Trump . . . Who’s Next?

CONGRESS SHOULD CLARIFY ROLE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT Law enforcement is an all-too-easy target for armchair spectators, quarterbacks, and other critics who think they know what they’d do when encountering dangerous criminals. The reality for offi cers is diff erent. They walk the thinnest of constitutional tightropes. Congress could clear up any confusion with the passage of clearly written laws, delineating what roles and responsibilities the FBI, DOJ, and other policing arms actually have. Laws may get passed actually supporting and guiding — not undermining, “defunding,” or confusing — law enforcement. (“Abuse of Power,” October) meredith schonderelle San Francisco, Calif.

REIN IN DOJ During President Barack Obama’s administration, the IRS was weaponized to target conservatives. Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch were deployed as “targeters”-in-chief. Fast-forward to now, heaven help anyone who does not toe Team Biden’s line. Sadly, that includes Donald Trump, who did nothing but try to strengthen, defend, economically fortify, and right-side our great nation. We all need to watch out; we might be next for so much as even hinting we’re not happy with the way things are. (“Abuse of Power,” October)

A REAL FIGHTER We have an unsung hero standing up for education and standing up for our kids and grandkids. Her name is Betsy DeVos. During the Trump administration, and even now, as your article so cogently says, DeVos has fought for “true education freedom.” She identifi ed what public education does to our children. They’re the arms of our “woke” feds and local governments; they’d rather protect their politically correct-oriented bureaucracy and curriculums rather than actually educate. Thanks for featuring Betsy DeVos in your magazine. Yes, she deserves a great deal of praise for trying to overhaul U.S. education, but the way to return our nation’s schools to the standards they used to uphold and maintain is to get both the left and right politics completely out. Period. Let educators educate and let school administrators do their jobs completely without such interference.

VALUE HUMAN LIFE Life deserves protection from conception to its end, without debate. So, where does Joe Biden stand? He wants it both ways. He wants to hide behind his Catholic religion while espousing, rather vocally, a “right” for a woman to terminate her pregnancy. Donald Trump actually values life, and, given the chance, will continue his initiative against the crime of abortion. (“Is It Hers or a Person?” August)

The simple fact that someone like John Fetterman was neck and neck in polling with Dr. Mehmet Oz in the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania should be an indicator to everyone that this country is pretty much 50% “owned” by the Communists! Regardless of the ultimate outcome,

we are hanging by a thread! (“Oz for America,” March)

WHERE IS GOD? The September issue of Newsmax Magazine featured an ad, “Where Is God?” I graduated from high school in 1957, and what a changed world I live in now! Being raised in a home that taught there is a God, I believe in God’s word, the Bible. I constantly pray for America to return to godliness, morality, and constitutional law.

HALL OF SHAME If we had a U.S. Military Hall of Shame, inductees would be Gens. Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley for the humiliating Afghanistan withdrawal. Cowardly Austin and Milley agreed to fi ve-time draft dodger Biden’s rapid and stupid exiting fi asco from Afghanistan. With a feeling of national dishonor, most veterans feel betrayed. Gen. Douglas MacArthur once said, “Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.” Austin and Milley’s sad legacy will never fade away. (“Afghanistan’s Desperate Nightmare,” September)
