Biden needs to open the Keystone XL and other pipelines and allow drilling on federal lands. We have plenty of oil right here. All of that oil right under us, that God has blessed us with. It’s the Democrats who’ve decided that we don’t want it. America, wake up! Gas prices go up weekly, while the stock market goes down with it. Thanks, Joe Biden. CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR In an all too classic playing out of “Careful of What You Ask for, You Might Just Get It,” there should be no surprise on the part of anyone that some of our nation’s cities are now a hell-based Armageddon. It’s no coincidence that the 12
you’ve featured in your April issue, are now reaping the “benefi ts” of defunding the police; and if it’s not a literal depriving law enforcement of critical fi nancial resources, it’s certainly an undermining by left Democratic mayors and city councils of our brave men and women on the streets in uniform. The results are demoralized fi rst responders, who want to take early retirement. If this is an example of “Build Back Better,” it’s time to clean out our government, beginning with the occupants of both the White House and vice president’s residence. INCREDIBLE LIFE What an extraordinary woman was Marjorie Merriweather Post (“The Grande Dame of Palm Beach,” April.) At age 27 she inherited her father’s Post cereal empire and turned it into a powerhouse. Then she built Mar-a-Lago, now owned by Donald Trump, and made it a rendezvous for the world’s most powerful politicians and businessmen. She was truly a woman ahead of her time.
