Wykeland promotes key quartet to new sen- ior roles. Yorkshire-based commercial property developer Wykeland Group has made a series of internal promotions to strengthen its experienced team. The promotions for four team members to senior roles reward their contributions to the business and puts in place a new structure which reinforces Wykeland’s strategic
priorities.The pro- moted team members are Tom Watson, as Head of Regeneration; Matt Clarkson as Head of Facilities Management; Natalia Rudd as Head of Marketing; and Liam Knaggs as Head of Business Space.
Argyll unveils plans for £3.5m Hudson House refurbishment. London office provider Argyll has unveiled a £3.5m refurbishment of Hudson House in Covent Garden. The news follows the appoint- ment of Emily Smith as CEO and the purchase of 33 Chancery Lane – Argyll’s first acquisition in over 20 years. The seven-storey, 14,000 sq ft Grade II-listed building will be brought up to
modern office standards whilst celebrating its ori- gin as Country Life’s headquarters, designed by Lutyens. Plans include 48 private offices, restored historic features, and high-tech amenities, with reopening scheduled for now.
A pair of businesses based at a Southam Industrial Park have expanded their operations, highlighting the strength of the site’s collaborative environment and its role in supporting sustaina- ble growth just two years after completion. Green Tech Industries Ltd and RMF Installation and Services have both reported significant growth since launching at Sucham Park, a scheme from Warwickshire Property & Development Group (WPDG). Green Tech Industries has increased its footprint to accommodate a growing team and rising demand, while fellow occupier RMF has boosted operational capacity.
Watkin Jones, the UK’s leading developer and manager of residential for rent accommoda- tion has strengthened its investment team with three senior appointments. The new hires bring extensive experience across development partnerships, investment strategy and portfolio optimisation, enhancing the depth of the Group’s investment function and supporting the growth into development partnerships and asset man- agement Will White joins as Partnerships Director, focusing on developing and managing strategic relationships with Universities alongside other key stakeholders in relation to our on-campus and wider development partnerships. James Lambert joins from TPG Angelo Gordon as Portfolio Manager and will oversee the performance and optimisation of the wider Watkin Jones portfolio, alongside working on new asset management initiatives.
