Rovco, a leading provider of tech-powered offshore wind geophysical survey and ROV/ AUV projects, has successfully
secured six and five-year leases for two office suites situated in Knight’s modern office development.
These leases collectively span 10,774 sq ft, with the first floor encompassing 5,384 sq ft and the ground floor comprising 5,390 sq ft. These agreements were reached swiftly, strategically aligning with Rovco’s ambitious plans for future growth.
Rovco’s technology helps lower the costs of site planning / consent surveys and, O&M through surface vessels and underwater autonomy. They also use their own AI systems to force multiply their teams and process large volumes of data rapidly. Rovco works across all
lifecycle stages of a
windfarm from initial planning all the way through to final decommissioning.

The site at Kingshill Park, in Westhill, Aberdeen has been formally handed over to Wickes who are now managing the fit-out process, ahead of its grand opening in August. The purpose-built 25,000 sq ft store, along with 79 car parking spaces and an outdoor projects centre was built by Clark Contracts, who were the main contractor.
The new building is of a steel frame design and incorporates high-performance composite wall and roof cladding and is designed such that a mezzanine floor can be fitted to increase stoor capacity. When open, the new store will bring around 25 new jobs to the local economy and will see Wickes offering more DIY product choice to consumers in the Granite City.

Wickes will join other big names in the business park including Starbucks, McDonalds, Screwfix and Toolstation.
HQ Expansion for Simblox Technologies Ltd at AM Sci Tech’s Aberdeen Energy Park
IT provider doubles footprint at the Enterprise Centre. AM Sci Tech, a subsidiary of Hurstwood Holdings, the owner of Aberdeen Energy and Innovation Parks, has just concluded an upsizing lease with Simblox.
Simblox, which has been based at the parks
for the past ten years, has moved to a larger head office suite in the Enterprise Centre on the Energy Park in Bridge of Don.
The business has agreed to a five-year lease on the ground floor Unit G4, which extends to approximately 900 sq ft, almost doubling their previous space. The new suite can accommodate up to 10 people, allowing for potential future expansion requirements.
Simblox provides IT services across various sectors, including business consulting, construction, finance, energy, engineering, legal and manufacturing, with tailoring solutions to meet each industry’s unique needs.
The company was established in 2005 and has grown steadily over the years, while maintaining a high-quality service.
