US report finds insufficient data to

Colep Packaging gains 40% stake in aerosol maker ALM


SPAIN Aerosol specialist Colep Packaging, part of Portugal’s RAR Group, has acquired a 40% stake in Spanish aluminium aerosol provider ALM. Colep says this move allows it to enlarge its packaging portfolio and offer a wider range of sustainable materials solutions for packaging. It aims to offer the market more alternatives, flexibility and


customisation as a result. Paulo Sousa, CEO of Colep Packaging, said: “This is one more step in our strategic

Evonik preps for gas stop with 40% dip in natural gas use at German sites


GERMANY Evonik is making energy supply at its German sites less dependent on natural gas to ensure supply even in the event of Russian gas stop. The specialty chemicals giant said alternative energy sources can replace up to 40% of natural gas supply for the region without affecting chemicals production.
