PERFECT KIT EVERY TIME

Who do you work with?
[TJS] “We only work with rental and post houses. Why does this matter? They need to be 100% sure that their customer relationships are as solid as can be. They don’t want a third-party to be ‘visible’, right down to logos and branding on hired-in kit. So our own badging is minimal – more to ensure we all know which kit belongs to who and we can link the product back to our inventory. The rental house’s brand will be the only visible rental brand on-set. Dynamic is the only rental company globally that exclusively rents to other rental houses.”
What service levels do you offer?
Chief Technology Officer, Sean Sims [SS] “Simply out, second to none. Our kit is always in the best possible condition with full quality control on the way in and out of our building. If we want rental houses to trust us, we’ve got to offer a service at least as good as their own. I’ve got two decades working at Media Film Services in Cape Town and we have a team of experienced technicians to ensure it meets the most exacting standards and I run a tight ship. It doesn’t matter if it’s a one-day rental or for a year, we provide the same level of service across the board.”
When you say you’re international, what does that mean?
[TJS] “We operate from multiple locations with Burbank, Atlanta, and Ashford already live and further European and New York offices opening shortly. If you’re supplying to the East or West Coast or anywhere in the UK or mainland Europe, we have the reach to get our kit where and when you want it. We deliberately chose Ashford as our UK location because of it’s strong transport links with fast trains into London and as a primary hub from which to reach most Northern European locations as efficiently and quickly as we can.”
[SS] “This global reach also means we can offer true global 24/7 support - which I know is mission critical - and we can swap out kit faster than anyone else in most situations.”
What does customer- centricity mean at Dynamic Rentals?
[TJS] “Whether you’re looking for a one- day rental or need equipment for a year, we provide the same level of service across the board. We’re now offering leasing arrangements which might work out better for longer rentals and where the rental company can end up owning the kit with lower and staggered upfront costs.”
[SS] “We want to earn the trust of the rental houses and act as an extension of their team. I make sure my standards and protocols are followed across the company. We can guarantee that wherever they are in the world, they’ll get the same great service. The only way we can earn that trust is by providing the broadest possible digital cinema inventory with the best possible service. We get it. Reliable and well-maintained equipment is mission critical. We’ve got $25M worth of kit across the company.”
[TJS] “The key item is that Dynamic Rentals is only a sub-rentals business. We put our customer first and that means you.”
