The original Sister Pictures grew into Sister late last year when Jane Featherstone teamed up with Elisabeth Murdoch and Stacey
Snider to grow the business into a transatlantic scripted production house. Sister’s Chernobyl swept the board at various industry awards winning multiple Emmys, Bafta’s, RTS Awards and Televisual Bulldogs (see later in this issue). Giri Haji was well rewarded too and Gangs Of London and The Split both won recommissions. But COVID has certainly affected business as “ four productions were shutdown either in the middle of shooting or in prep, one of which will now not be produced.”
