TONY MAYELL AND LESLEY MAYELL DRAWING, PAINTING


Tony Mayell: Oil paintings and pastels, mainly of people, often male and often by the sea. Sometimes nostalgic, occasionally disconcerting. Recent work is smaller and more gestural.


Lesley Mayell paints landscapes and natural forms from life and photography, mainly using oil paint on canvas or board together with some small, delicate watercolour studies.

Please park on the road as the drive is shared.

ANDREW SCOTT GEORGE AND VAL GEORGE PAINTING, SCULPTURE


Andrew Scott George: Lyrical landscape paintings in egg tempera on board. Using multiple perspectives, these luminous works depict the Scottish Highlands, the West Country and Mendips. Many feature snow-bound landscapes beneath mountains and bright skies.


Val George: Quirky elongated animals in papier mache; wicked wolves, cunning foxes and sleek hounds. Also paintings of acrobats and nocturnal creatures.
