Original prints and intricate hand-cut paper artworks. I have a love of the natural world around me and am drawn to unusual shapes and pattern which inform my more abstract works. I experiment with the possibilities of repetition and the interplay between light and shadow. I split my time between Somerset and my studio in south west France, each location providing a different opportunity for artistic reflection. Printing demonstration between 11am - 1pm each Thursday.

JANE BROSSARD MIXED MEDIA, PAINTING, PAPER


I am drawn to Cornwall and inspired by the St Ives Abstractionists of the ‘50s and ‘60s: Patrick Heron, William Scott and others.


Also, the Spanish artist Antoni Tapies is a recent discovery. I find his artwork bold and exciting, particularly his powerful collages made with ‘found materials’.
