LYDIA NEEDLE FOOTPRINTS


MIXED MEDIA, TEXTILES Lydia Needle is a multimedia artist living and working in rural Somerset. Using re- purposed materials, beach-combed finds and organic materials such as wool and earth, Lydia aims to explore the artist's place in the community and environment. Lydia will be joined by Rebecca Bruton, allowing for supportive and collaborative work. Workshops and ‘have-a-go’ sessions will be available. REBECCA BRUTON CREATIVE PATHWAY


TEXTILES


Rebecca works in free-motion embroidery and applique to build up intricate and vibrant textile artworks. She uses the sewing machine to mix colours, ‘paint’ and draw free-hand using threads. For Open Studios, she will make work that studies the fascinating world of seeds and beans and their sustainability, alongside Lydia Needle.

LIZ BIESTY AND ANN FAGAN PRINTMAKING


An exhibition of recent work by Liz and Ann inspired by natural forms, landscape, colour and pattern.


On show will be a range of limited edition prints, handmade books and cards using a variety of traditional printmaking techniques including linocut, etching, monoprint and dry point.
