ABOUT SAW
Placing art at the heart of Somerset, investing in the arts community, enriching lives.
SAW is an artist-led organisation and the only countywide agency dedicated to developing visual arts, weaving together communities and supporting the artists who enrich our lives, making Somerset a place where people expect to engage with excellent visual art that is surprising and distinctive.
SAW creates Projects and offers Memberships to support practicing artists and organisations in Somerset: providing bursaries, developing commissions and creating collaborative working as well as providing networking and showcase opportunities including the diverse annual Art Weeks event.
Somerset Art Works is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation and a registered charity.

saw FRIENDSOF
The Visual Arts in Somerset inject an array of colour and expression into our lives.
How dull it would be without the insight into these talented artists’ mind-sets and creativity.
Your investment allows SAW to fund vital education and outreach work.
Friends make a vital contribution to SAW’s success and fund opportunities, bursaries, and placements for graduates and emerging artists, encouraging them to develop their talent.
Your donation funds opportunities for artists to work in communities with little access to the Arts.
Thank you Somerset Art Works
