CALFPEN GALLERY PAINTING, PRINTS, MIXED MEDIA


Sylvia and Ophelia are inspired by the countryside, animals, landscape and architecture.


Sylvia works mainly in oils with some lino cuts and the exhibition includes some paintings form her recent trip to Cornwall.


Ophelia works mostly in watercolour with some paintings in ink and some in mixed media.

Directions: Entrance through white gate on A38, east of Pope’s Lane. Make your way up gravel drive and park at end. Walk down pathway, following signs through garden gate on left, past pink house on your right, through yard to the venue ahead.

ALICE CARMAN, ROBBIE CARMAN, LIZ GREGORY PAINTING, PRINTS, DRAWING


Farms, Figures and Phantoms: New works. Used clothes. Old thoughts. Tractor paint, studs, acrylic, oil, pencil, prints, ink and threads.


Alice Carman is an emerging painter / illustrator. She is currently experimenting with paint and surfaces and is obsessed with faces and the human form. Robbie Carman graduated from St Martins last year and is making drawings in response to the space between the eyes and the brain. Liz Gregory, a practicing artist for many years, has spent the last five making a detailed drawing of a piece of disused silage wrap.
