The Somerset Levels provides unlimited inspiration for both artists, through the changing light, seasons, variety of landscape and wildlife.

I allow the wood, with its colour and grain pattern, to influence my design before sometimes incorporating carving, texturing and other materials.

My studio is a converted barn adjoining the house dated c1580.


I paint in watercolour or acrylic into which I occasionally include printed and other relevant ephemera for added texture. My paintings record images I have observed, including people, the seaside, countryside and local views. All affordable, with greetings cards available.
