GLOBALLY GROWING STANDARDISATION
Recently, Premier Nutrition, part of AB Agri, has announced the intention to open a new facility in the United Kingdom. With the new facility the company will expand its capacity and meet growing demand. This project includes aligning control systems with the international standards to support continuous optimisation. Control systems will be connected to a technical platform that measures availability and reliability of the lifecycle of the facility. Actemium, a brand of VINCI Energies dedicated to industry, will play a central role in the collaboration of
Premier Nutrition and its suppliers. For Actemium, this project consists of the delivery of solutions within the following disciplines:
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) • Process Automation and Batch Control System (BCS) • Advanced Production Scheduling (APS)
Systems and Solutions Actemium will provide a fully integrated solution. This means that the solution will provide a complete integration from ERP to process control. The solution manages the transfer of information, process control of the production process and registration from raw material to finished product (Track & Trace). All disciplines are developed in-house and the internal collaboration ensures an integrated solution for the customer with only one single point of contact within Actemium. The solution to be delivered is called Titanium. Titanium is a
solution in which standard software is used for process automation and which is extended with domain specific applications. The process automation is based on Siemens for process control
and visualisation, but other vendors, such as Rockwell, are also part of the answer. The other disciplines are solutions specifically designed for the domain over the last 20 years focusing on agribusinesses. This

solution captures knowledge of compound feed, premix, pet food, aquafeed and other related processes within agribusinesses.
