Mr Plant Hire wins with Xenith Heights

Mr Plant Hire’s name was drawn out of the hat in a competition to win a luxury hamper on Xenith Heights’ stand at the Executive Hire Show. Xenith Heights’ Ian McIntyre, pictured right, was quick off the mark

to present the prize to Tony Crawford and Ele Ioannou at the Enfield premises of the company, which placed an order during their visit for

100 Aresta safety harness kits finished in its corporate colours and logo. Ian McIntyre also told EHN that Xenith Heights was delighted by

the number of visitors they met on their stand in Hall 2, and that all companies who placed orders there will receive a small gift as an extra token of appreciation.

HSC’s keys to success

Hire Supply Co (HSC) congratulated two lucky winners in an ‘unlock the box to win’ competition held on its stand at the Show. Entrants drew a key from many contained in a large glass bowl, but only a limited number would actually open the secure cabinet containing a prize of a new iPhone X, valued at approximately £1,000. The two successful entrants were Neil Compton

receive the Award from sponsor, Matthew Hill of Obart Pumps. “For a number of years, Matthew has used one of our old pumps on his stand as evidence of their longevity and the revenue raised whilst in our hire fleet, to promote the profit that can be generated from submersible pump hire. I understand that this unit is still pictured in the Obart catalogue today, showing the word ‘Lord’ where it was engraved into the casing below our plant identity number, and with an extract of the revenue figures for the pump from our computer system.” Carl Bartlett

Snorkel adds spiders

During the Show, Snorkel UK announced that it has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Ruthmann Bluelift spider lifts. Bluelift was founded in Italy in 2004, and in 2016 became Ruthmann Italia Srl., a division of the German Ruthmann Group which manufactures truck-mounted aerial lifts. Snorkel UK will also provide spare parts and technical support for the lifts, through its existing

nationwide network of service engineers. MD Andrew Fishburn, who is pictured, right, with Ruthmann Italia MD Gianni Marti, said, “Ruthmann Bluelift is well-known for its lightweight, compact and high-performance lithium battery-powered and hybrid machines, which is a key advantage as the UK market increasingly focuses on zero emission equipment.”
