Heavy-duty W Robinson pump

New from W Robinson & Sons in the Koshin pumps range is the Ponstar PBX which has air valves to enable dry running. A continuous airflow keeps the motor cool and a thermal switch activates if an abnormal level of heat is detected. When the pump operates normally, the valves are closed by the water pressure in the machine. A centrifugal force switch is

incorporated for easy starting, and the pumps are made from heavy- duty components to handle muddy and sandy water. The direction of the delivery flange can also be changed to suit the direction of flow.
