InnovatIon traIl: Eco

Mexco In an ever-evolving world it is sometimes challenging to keep up-to-date with

a supplier’s product developments. Also, it can be difficult to ensure new members of staff have quick access to concise information on a supplier’s product range. There is no requirement for overnight stays or lengthy periods away from

the office, as the Mexco learning Hub offers dedicated web-based modular learning for the different categories of diamond tools. The Mexco learning Hub offers flexible online training which ensures that Mexco stockists can be confident they have staff trained and ready to make recommendations based on clear, accurate information surrounding the Mexco diamond tool product range. The Mexco Hub includes individual syllabuses for each product category, with regular product up-dates and certificates denoting each syllabus completed. The system is fully interactive and is entirely free to use for all Mexco stockists.

MHM The MHM Group plans to be carbon neutral by 2030. In the pursuit of this target, the

company has devised the new MHM ECO range, which has as a flagship product the new ‘Street Lite’ lighting tower. The Street Lite has many of the attributes of a standard diesel-powered set, with the exception that it runs entirely from a combination of solar/battery power with no engine. It is very simple to use and set up, featuring an integrated AGM (absorbed glass mat) sealed-lead battery that has no complicated wiring or fixings. The batteries, which are charged via a 175kW solar panel, run for up to 13 hours on a

single charge. Other highlights include an advanced sensor which dims the light when it detects no movement on site, an energy saving 50-watt LED lamp and dusk-to-dawn control switches eliminating the need for daily manual control. The Street Lite consumes no fuel, while emitting zero CO2 emissions and producing zero noise.

GGR Group The ML 3.0 FX Tracked Carrier is the ultimate tool for

transporting loads across uneven surfaces. This capable electric machine offers the versatility of heavy-duty lifting capabilities and increased gradeability in a small package. The ML 3.0 FX is ideal for heavy-duty lifting purposes, for both

indoor and outdoor settings. It features a fully removable battery pack that is equipped with its own internal charger, which helps to eliminate downtime for users on-site.

Pinnacle Platforms The Sinoboom 1330SE is an all-electric, virtually silent, 5.8m max working height scissor lift. The 880kg

machine is widely used across the contracting sector and is powered by the latest 12v x 2/11 5Ah 24DC lead acid, AGM, maintenance free dry cell batteries, replacing wet lithium batteries that require daily levels of maintenance and high levels of charge Reducing emissions to zero and with the minimum of noise, the 1330SE is part of the environmental agenda, providing the hire industry with cleaner, greener and smarter solutions to achieve UK construction carbon neutrality and sustainability. There is much more to the 1330SE, however, with non-marking tyres the machine can operate all day

and leave no residual matter that requires cleaning off of floor surfaces. In addition, when stowed and ready to load, transportation becomes more efficient as with a wheelbase of just 3' 8" (1.11m), more machines can be transported, reducing the miles hirers travel and the fuel they consume in doing so.
