EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

Radiodetection adds cloud functionality

Radiodetection says that, several years ago, it introduced on-board usage-logging for its cable avoidance tools in response to an increasing focus on reducing the risks posed by utility strikes. Now, C.A.T Manager Online combines this and GPS positioning data from

the company’s gC.A.T4 models with cloud-based analytics. Using a standard web browser, managers can review how their operators

are working, in near real-time. The system can be used to check work quality before users leave the site and can prevent poor work practices developing, by identifying training needs. A free mobile app automatically transfers usage data from a connected machine to the system server at the end of each scan.
