Valley Trading choose r2c Online for connected vehicle compliance software
GLOUCESTERSHIRE-based waste and recycling company Valley Trading have signed up to r2c’s connected fl eet and workshop management platform for improved vehicle compliance and maintenance levels.
Michael Kent, Transport Manager at Valley Trading, said: “We wanted to increase effi ciency and compliance across our fl eet and on-site workshop. “We often misplaced paperwork or found it hard to read, which in today’s world of ever-increasing compliance regulations, we knew just wasn’t good enough anymore.” Another issue Valley Trading faced was the struggle of increased demand on their in-house workshop.

Michael continued: “We also faced low effi ciency within our workshop in regards to defect rectifi cation, which needed to improve to cater for our expanding fl eet as the business continues to grow.” Valley Trading chose r2c Online’s connected platform for centralised vehicle compliance and maintenance data, with real-time fl eet and workshop collaboration for improved effi ciency and compliance levels. The software will be implemented across the business from daily driver checks to the transport offi ce, to technicians in the workshop for full digital management of their mixed fl eet of specialist waste vehicles including grabbers, tippers and articulated vehicles.
“The biggest benefi t for us will be the effi ciencies r2c can off er the whole business,” Michael added.
“It will be invaluable for us as we continue to grow. The vehicle planner for repairs and inspections will be incredibly useful too.
