Dsposal take centre stage in Birmingham
ANOTHER online-based company making waves in the waste recycling sector was Manchester-based Dsposal.
Sophie Walker, Dsposal COO and co-Founder, said her highlight was Dsposal’s audience-engaging, lively panel discussion on the first day.
A really positive way to get our message across
The discussion helped the general public understand they have a duty of care to combat waste.
Sophie also spoke about the personal advantages of the RWM for Dsposal.
She said: “The combination of the stand and theatre has been really beneficial for us – it’s been a really positive way to get our message across and tell attendees what we’re about.
“Although Dsposal is useful to anyone, our main target audience in terms of the exhibition is SMEs, because these smaller-medium- sized businesses allow us to speak quickly to decision makers.”
Weighbridge Services celebrate successful exhibition
LEADING the charge in the weighbridge servicing supplier industry was South Yorkshire-based Weighbridge Services. Company manager Liam Buxton (Right) said: “This is the fi rst RWM we’ve done in three years, and it’s been very good – and probably the most successful we’ve ever done. “I think the reason for this year’s success is down to general footfall. This year stands out for us.” Liam explained that his company had a few enquiries from attendees to buy weighbridges. Their main leads were about sales and calibration services, and Weighbridge Services are already looking to exhibit next year as the Sheffi eld Company have several new projects lined up for 2019, which will see improvements to the company’s conversion kits.
