you REALLY don’t want to mess with. Hi Ami! Tell us a little bit about yourself. I’m Ami Addyman, and I’m 22 years old. And what’s your job?


I’m a director at Addyman’s Ltd, which has been a family business for over 20 years.


Oh! We’re very impressed. What does being a director involve?


I’ve been working with my dad pretty much all my life. When I was little he would bring me here to earn some pocket money, but I started fully when I left school. My job is a bit of everything - offi ce work, operating the weighbridge, and running my eBay page selling car parts.


Sounds like you’re busy! What’s the best bit of the job?


Must be working for my dad - and family and friends. We have a good laugh together, and I’m proud to be part of what my dad has worked so hard for. Oh, and I like having a pink skip truck.


Any bits that are less fun?


As much as I love working with my family, it can be hard. There are certain situations where we can end up falling out with each other. Especially when it’s with my boyfriend Dan, and we end up going home in a mood with each other!


Sure that doesn’t happen often. What’s the strangest thing to happen at work?


A customer got my mobile number and left me drunk voicemails asking to take me out and telling me he loved me.


Awkward! What about outside of work, what are you up to?


I like to go to the gym. sometimes I’ll go boxing, meet the girls and have a few drinks in town - or just sit in with Dan and order a takeaway.


Remind us not to get into an argument


with you – don’t fancy a left hook. What’s the craziest thing you’ve done?


Must be doing an ultra-white collar boxing match for charity. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever done but it was all for a good cause, and I raised a lot of money for charity.


Nice – well done! Go on a date to celebrate – who with?


My ideal date would be Conor McGregor. Or Tommy from Power taking me out - that would be nice. Or Dan, of course...


Phew, he just made it on the list there, Dan! What would be your ideal superpower?


To be invisible. I could have a lot of fun with that, playing pranks on people.


What about your theme tune? Russ - Yung God.


Got a fascinating fact about yourself that you’d care to share? I was a black belt in jujitsu and taekwondo.


No messing with you then! Got three words that sum you up? Clumsy, loyal, thoughtful. How about a joke to make us smile?


How do you drown a hipster? Throw him in the mainstream.


Good one! Any unfortunate fashion choices to share? My worst outfi t choice was when we went to


the under-18 nightclubs in fl orescent tutus and leg warmers.


Always good to be seen in the dark. Tell us what’s for dinner.


I love to cook. My best dish would be my burritos or chicken dinner.


We’ll be right round. But fi rst, if you were queen for a day, what law would you introduce?


I’d make a new day of the week when nobody was allowed to work.


That’ll do nicely. Ever met a celebrity?


I got a picture with one of Krept and Konan at the MOBO awards.


Suddenly we’re feeling quite old. Anyway, social media or social down the pub?


Both, you can’t just have one.


You’ve won the lottery! What are you going to buy?


I would buy a big house with land and get my dad a Ford Cosworth or Ford Mexico - the best money could buy.
