In the summer of 2005, ‘The Skip’ was born. Originally a humble pamphlet- sized supplement for SMEs, the publication soon gained traction after becoming the talk of the entire skip yard and beyond.


Over the next couple of years ‘The Skip’ became the more customarily-known Skip Hire Magazine, which reached out to a whole host of new, nationwide companies, and even started to be distributed to Ireland for the fi rst time.


Fast forward to today, and we have created a veritable monster. Skip Hire Magazine was rebranded Skip Hire & Waste Magazine, which is now an A4 magazine, with a gloss fi nish, and goes out to a database of 10,000 companies for each issue. Our monthly tone has

– like our magazine – got a whole lot glossier, a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot better.


We’re the UK-leading media channel for the waste recycling’s best and most innovative companies, and we’re just getting out of second gear into a brighter future.
