Kingly hosts British ambassador at industry- leading sustainable manufacturing facility

n April 8, Kingly welcomed His Excellency Nathaniel Copsey, British Ambassador to Bulgaria, and Tim Buissseret, Commercial Attaché to the British Embassy, to its headquarters and production facility in Sofi a The pair were given a guided tour


of Kingly’s award-winning facility by Robert Armour, CEO of Kingly, and Chris Edmonds, COO. Joining the delegation were Dilyana Maneva, deputy executive director of the For Our Children Foundation, and Rumiana Jeleva, corporate partnerships manager at SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria.


The delegation explored Kingly’s production model, which transforms textile waste into high-performance upcycled products.

His Excellency and Mr Buissseret also took a particular interest in Kingly’s charitable work supporting underprivileged children and families across Bulgaria. To commemorate the visit, Kingly presented 20 pairs of bespoke, embroidered socks to Ambassador Copsey and shared that a similar set was recently created for Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer – symbolising a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and the British-Bulgarian partnership. Mr Armour said: “This visit was about celebrating values – sustainability, unity, integrity, and the power of meaningful collaboration. It was a bridge between Britain and Bulgaria, built not just on trade, but on shared purpose.”
