P&P LIVE! 2022 Review
A REAL TREAT TO BE REUNITED!
The Mantis team was delighted to be back at P&P LIVE!, to be reunited with customers and friends from across the industry was a real treat! The three days gave the fi rst in person opportunity to touch and feel the new Essentials collection of hoodies, Ts and sweats – colour co-ordinated styles for all ages from babies through to adults. Aside from the undeniable benefi ts of being organic, the soft touch and wearability of their fabrics was a real hit. Brand ambassador Laura Parrot ran two successful seminars about the changing world of sustainability and organic and what it means for businesses. Laura said afterwards that the feedback was overwhelming; people are keen to learn more and eager to start their own sustainability journeys. After two years of COVID, the overriding feeling from everyone the team spoke to was just how nice it was to connect again, people with people and people with garments – that’s what makes the industry tick.
We have been exhibiting at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! for nearly 30 years now. This year was a complete unknown for any exhibitor. Would COVID put people off attending? Would the price of fuel deter people from travelling? What would the attendance be like? Well, we were pleasantly surprised.
The ETC Supplies team
I only wish with hindsight that I had booked a larger stand. We had no idea how many visitors would attend. From what I could see on our stand, this was probably the best show ever, with a very high number of visitors. I think you could tell that from all the people carrying ETC Supplies’ bags in the hall. On Sunday, which is always a busy day, we had a lot of newer visitors/ customers to our stand. We had lots of free samples to hand out and people to touch and look at all the other products we had on display. The Mighty Hoops was a very big seller for us. People were intrigued on how to use these and especially the framing station, as all embroidery companies suff er from the problem of embroidery placement.
The Mantis World team
It was fantastic to exhibit this year at P&P LIVE!, especially after an extended hiatus! We were really excited to show off our 60cm DTF solution and it was great to have a packed out stand full of interested purchasers! DTF was definitely the talk of the show and it was pleasing to see that so many people liked our solution!

One of our new team members who has not attended the exhibition before was simply overwhelmed with the number of visitors to our stand. Young Paul as we call him, said he can’t wait to come back next year. Paul commented on how much busier our stand was compared to our competitors. I would like to thank all the visitors to our stand. I would also extend my apologies to all those visitors who waited to speak to us but did not get a chance. We will use the next weeks and months to off er you the support, help and advice you need. Finally, a very big thank you to Tony, Mel, Dan and all the team at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! who made this show the best ever. See you in 2023.

After two long years away from exhibiting, team Prestige were packed up and ready to go!
Not only was it amazing to have the team back together again but the huge waves of customers that visited was phenomenal. Whether it was chatting with customers or meeting new ones, the team were ran off their feet every day and loved every minute of it. It was fantastic to meet up with the teams from the brands Prestige sells and wander around their stands to see what they have been up to and fi nally putting faces to names. The Prestige sales team is now super busy working away on all of the leads from the show and any queries from the current customer base. The team at Prestige is looking forward to the next show and hopes everyone had as much fun as they did.
