P&P LIVE! 2022 Review SO MANY SMILING FACES


After two years, the team at PenCarrie said it was fantastic to be back at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! with two of their exclusive brands, SOL’S and Next Level, and to see so many smiling faces in person! The team would like to say thank you to those who visited them at the show and that it was great to catch up on the last few years with everyone.


At the show, PenCarrie had a dedicated digital area, manned by the digital manager, who was there to discuss website features and take feedback on the new website from visitors. PenCarrie also showcased a new and exclusive brand, Brand Lab, giving visitors a sneak peek of the range as well as heat pressing organic tote bags on stand with transfer brand Supacolour for visitors to take away with them.

POSITIVE RESPONSE TO SUSTAINABILITY MESSAGE Écologie by AWDis’ mission is to build a better future for the planet without compromising on style, and this message attracted many curious visitors to the stand over the course of the three days. Customers were all eager to fi nd out more about the unique collection of tees, sweatshirts and knitwear created from 100% vegan-approved environmentally friendly cotton sources.


Visitors to the stand were introduced to the extended classic EA001 Cascades Organic Tee’s colour pallet, with shades such as mustard and royal blue included in the six new colour offering. The EA040 Lusaka Sustainable Hoody, crafted from 70% regenerated cotton and 30% recycled polyester is also available in an additional two new colours – soft peach and sand dune. Écologie hugely appreciated all the continued support and positive feedback received at the show, and it was promising to meet so many businesses that are getting serious about sustainability in 2022.


A GREAT RETURN!


Kids Wholesale Clothing saw a great return to Printwear & Promotion LIVE! for 2022. The pandemic had many businesses on edge, especially with the cancellation of the 2021 show. However, it was fantastic to come back and be part of the buzz the show creates for its three-day duration.

This year’s P&P LIVE! was a great success for AWDis Brands. It was a great opportunity to meet our customers old and new, while being able to showcase the high-quality products we have.

Most importantly for KWC, the 2022 show made it possible to reconnect with existing clients. And of course, meet any new ones who came out and visited the NEC. A simple handshake and chat with loyal customers who have stuck with the team for a decade was the perfect way to reconnect after two years of social distancing.


The show itself was very successful, the outstanding moment was the huge reaction to KWC’s brand Tummi Bears; a selection of soft toys with removable stuffi ng pods (ideal for printing). It was the fi rst year that the bears were able to be showcased since their release in early 2020. The reaction was so substantial, KWC saw an uptake in sales for the Tummi Bears only after day one at the show.

The long awaited Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2022 was a great show for Amaya in many aspects. First and foremost, lovely to be back in front of people, catching up with existing customers on how the past couple of years has been for their business, and meeting new contacts to learn what their plans are for the future and how we can help. With a bigger team than 2020, some of our newbies were able to see what we had all been harping on about since they joined and I think the variety of new exhibitors compared with 2020, made for a more interesting mix at the show than previously. We had a lot of interest in Roland UV, particularly the S series, new for 2022 and the XDi technology (3D print) now available from the Kornit Atlas Max system. The great feedback we had from our visitors has made all the hard work worthwhile.
