Fruit of the Loom is embracing one of the most cutting- edge fi bre innovations in the textile industry – a sustainable, future-oriented development now making its debut in two brand-new sweat lines for the very fi rst time. Alastair Drew from CiCLO headquarters was on-site to answer questions about the technology and its environmental benefi ts. Fruit of the Loom’s 175th anniversary this year was also a major talking point. The rebranding from Russell Europe to Russell Athletic was welcomed by trade partners as a strong move for brand presence. In addition, the new product Essential Weather Shell Jacket 416M, the new colours in the Authentic Sweats range, as well as the extended size and colour range of the Authentic Heavyweight T 215M were very well received.
