P&P LIVE! 2026 Review
demonstrated its versatility by printing onto golf balls. Visitors looking for embroidery solutions wouldn’t leave the stand empty-handed either, as the company brought the latest offering from Melco. The Melco Summit is trying to achieve a more automated system for embroidery companies.
EXILE’s stand Melco Summit
It utilises a barcode solution so users can set up the machine with little interference or expertise, letting it automate the process.
Of course, many of these offerings were also at the show with a number of other companies exhibiting.
MIRICAL EMBLEMS
MiRiCal’s unique range of heat presses was demonstrated, with much interest received in its inverted presses, which are used to overcome the problems associated with using conventional heat presses on temperature-sensitive fabrics like polyester and fleece.
A conventional press will leave an unsightly glazing mark around the transfer, whereas an inverted press will leave that mark on the inside of the garment where no one sees it. Suppliers of garments made from such fabrics will often warn against using heat-applied products for exactly this reason, but MiRiCal’s M-Press opens up these fabrics to a wider range of decoration options.
EXILE TECHNOLOGIES
EXILE Technologies enjoyed a very busy three days at the show, with the UK screen print industry welcoming the arrival of its Hornet Direct to Mesh (D2M) Digital Screen stencil making system.
The Hornet D2M uses a ‘digital emulsion’ to print the screen stencil and eliminates most of the steps required in conventional screen-making.
The company was making ‘live’ screens, ready for press, throughout the show, without the need for a dark room environment.
P&P LIVE! was the perfect platform to introduce this revolutionary system to the UK Textile screen print community.
Its Hornet D2M system was transported straight after the show to its customer test site in Leicester, where they have already produced screens successfully on a production job this week.
