KGK Genix reports output improvements with new HP Stitch S1000

GK Genix has highlighted the impact of its new HP Stitch S1000 printer, revealing how the device has helped the company to access the fabric printing sector. With guidance from Papergraphics, an approved HP partner, the HP Stitch S1000 was determined as the ideal solution. The device offers a maximum printing width of 3.2m, runs at speeds of up to 220m sq/hr and runs 10L ink cartridges, with operational features such as a drop-and-dry printzone dryer, media loading table, spreader roller and
built-in spectrophotometer. Ryan Player, fabric manager at KGK Genix, said: “We’re effectively running at twice the speed of our previous print mode, but without compromising on quality. Because it runs so consistently, we can print rolls out of hours if we need to. That gives us far more flexibility in how we schedule work.”
Mr Player added the combination of the HP Stitch S1000 technology and Tissaro Fabrics from Papergraphics means the company has been able to take on several high-profile projects, including from Nike.

ColDesi boosts DTF colour range with upgraded DTF-12H2
C
olDesi has unveiled an enhanced version of its DTF-12H2 DTF printer, now with expanded CMYKOG ink configuration aimed at garment decorators.
The upgrade adds orange and green inks to the standard CMYK and white setup, increasing the printer’s colour gamut by 27% and enabling reproduction of around 100,000 additional colours. This delivers brighter graphics, smoother gradients and improved colour accuracy across printwear and promotional products.
Already established among garment decorators for its compact footprint and ease of use, the DTF-12H2 retains its workflow while offering broader creative capability.
According to ColDesi, the system supports on-demand production of transfers for cotton, polyester and blended fabrics.
