A commitment to innovation In the ever-evolving landscape of interactive entertainment and technology, Alterface remains committed to innovation. We continually explore new technologies and approaches to enhance our projects and provide the best experiences for our clients and their audiences. Here are some recent developments and technologies we’ve adopted to assist in our projects. Thanks to advancements in 3D real-time engines, we’ve developed a
powerful tool that enables us to effectively simulate our rides. This tool allows us to anticipate and address various aspects of a ride, resulting in a faster design and installation process, ultimately ensuring a high-quality and immersive ride experience for our clients and their audiences. In addition, we’ve leveraged our knowledge of networking, web
technology, and big data from previous experiences to create Wander, a groundbreaking software-based solution for the design and activation of adventures in themed venues. With Wander, thousands of visitors can engage in interactive experiences simultaneously and the content dynamically adjusts to their actions over multiple days. Visitors now have the freedom to interact anywhere in the venue, engaging
with live actors, solving physical puzzles, impacting other visitors’ adventures, and using our interactive technology to interact with virtual worlds. Wander enriches these experiences, providing visitors with personalised and ever-evolving stories, delivering an unparalleled level of immersion and interactivity.
Delivering solutions Working on Harrington Flint’s Island Adventures, Fantasy Island, UK was indeed a unique challenge. This refurbished project involved integrating various components from different rides, including media, lighting, vehicles, and physical targets. As the supplier of the show control system and interactive technology, we had the task of seamlessly connecting and managing all these elements to ensure a smooth and immersive experience for guests. This project exemplifies our ability to adapt and deliver innovative solutions even in complex scenarios.
