Even little touches like the mist rolling out as the doors open to waiting riders adds to the “show” of the ride. The soundtrack, created by Nick Hutson who has provided the musical score for a number of Chessington World of Adventures attractions, sets the scene and ambiance perfectly, immersing visitors in to the world of Sobek.

In 2021, Chessington World of Adventures


marks the 90th anniversary of when he park first opened as a zoo in 1931. Croc Drop sure makes a wonderful birthday present that’s proving a big hit with park guests.
