Sky Voyager: As the newest addition to Australia’s biggest theme park, Sky Voyager adds to the suite of rides and attractions for all ages, catering to guests aged 4 to 94+. The fully immersive state-of-the-art experience takes guests on a journey across twelve of the most spectacular landscapes in the country. Tiger Island: As part of the park’s conservation work with Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation, its tigers are ambassadors for their cousins in the wild, as Dreamworld works towards protecting the species. Guests are mesmerised by their grace as they watch them glide underwater at the splash pool and feel in awe of their brute strength at feeding time at Tiger Island. Corroboree: The ancient world of our Australian ancestors is hard to imagine today, but Dreamworld Corroboree does its best to bring it to life. Incredible interactive experiences celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, culture, wildlife and stories. WhiteWater World: Float away in the Cave of Waves, slip and slide at Wiggle Bay or make a splash at The Green Room. Ideal for guests looking to ‘soak up some fun’. LEGO: The store offers one of the largest ranges of Lego in Australia - a firm vi sitor favourite.

live shows, meanwhile, the Tiger Presentation has proved extremely popular with guests, along with a variety of wildlife experiences. Dreamworld is also home to the DreamWorks Experience plus Australia’s only ABC Kids World.

Operational insights Guests to Dreamworld can purchase tickets either online or at the Dreamworld front entrance. Guest services team members are trained to cater to guests and manage queues during both peak and off- peak seasons. Dreamworld has also invested in technology to help manage queues and demand in busy periods: it was the first theme park in Australia to deploy accesso’s LoQueue solutions, which allow users to wait for their ride without having to stand in a physical queue line. The summer heat in Australia can be intense, and as many

of Dreamworld’s attractions are outside, it is necessary to employ specialist strategies to ensure visitors have a safe and happy visit. Team members consistently monitor guest behaviour, plus water fountains and ample shade areas are located throughout the park to ensure guests are keeping hydrated and have access to cool locations. Beverages can be purchased at numerous outlets located throughout the park, and sun block is available free of charge at all ride locations and most shopping outlets. What’s more, of course, with entry to WhiteWater World included in all Dreamworld tickets and passes, guests have unlimited access to the water park just next door - combining thrills and entertainment with an escape from the summer heat. Dreamworld has removed all plastic straws from its business, and will soon extend this to plastic plates, cutlery and serving dishes. These will be be replaced by more degradable and eco-friendly items, manufactured by environmentally friendly food packaging company Greenmark.

Onwards and upwards So what does the future hold for Dreamworld? Looking ahead, it seems Ardent Leisure will continue to build on the park’s existing entertainment offering, with an array of new shows and experiences planned. Of particular note is CEO John Osborne’s announcement of a $30 million investment in a new roller coaster, to be designed and built by Germany-based Mack Rides. The design of the 1.2 kilometre long thrill coaster is based

on the Mack Blue Fire Launch coaster, which currently operates in 14 locations around the world. With multiple inversions and a top speed of 105km/h, it is also said to feature the Southern Hemisphere’s first triple launch system, and the world’s first separate spinning gondola attached to the rear of the rollercoaster train… watch this space!
