FORREC expands its offering with new media production capabilities

Triotech attractions open at Resorts World Genting’s Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park


riotech has installed three distinct attractions at Resorts World Genting’s Skytropolis indoor theme park in Malaysia, including the largest

Triotech Dark Ride Theatre in Southeast Asia. The resort is 58 km north of Kuala Lumpur in Genting

Highlands, situated at 2,000 metres above sea level, and features seven hotels, entertainment outlets, convention centres, shopping malls and two theme parks. The resort attracted nearly 26 million visitors in 2018. The Resort’s indoor theme park, Skytropolis

with a space of 400,000 sq ft, offers 22 rides with other attractions such as skilled games and virtual reality centres. Just opened is Sky VR where Triotech will be

showcasing its attractions namely the award-winning XD Dark Ride Interactive Theater featuring a custom 32 seat room. There will also be two of Triotech’s innovative

virtual reality experiences; the VR Maze. Completing the trio will be a Typhoon simulator, a top-ranked ride worldwide. All these attractions feature several different media contents allowing guests to experience a different adventure every time they participate.

IAAPA’s Brass Ring Award for Best New Product and features several exclusive adventures all developed by Triotech in its in-house 3D animation studio.

David Kenneth has been hired as executive producer at FORREC for its new media studio. Kenneth began his career in live-action production before moving into post-production, visual effects, CG animation, and ultimately the themed entertainment industry. In his new role, Kenneth will take the lead in extending FORREC’s offerings across media production, live-action, CG, & VFX entertainment. The new role will also include creative and technical direction, and management of the production studio, enhancing FORREC’s ability to offer clients fully integrated experiences, from concept to delivery. Kenneth will continue to be based in Los Angeles expanding FORREC’s presence to the west coast. “We are so excited to have David join the

Entertainment Inc. where he served as CEO and executive producer working extensively in media production across a variety of industries from theme park attractions to feature films. As an Emmy- nominated producer, Kenneth has worked on many high-profile projects, including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Green Lantern and Spiderman 2. Kenneth is also a member of numerous professional organisations including the Producers Guild of America and the Digital Cinema Society. “Breaking new boundaries in the world of
