Raising the value proposition


Le Club Farret campsite in southern France opened new indoor waterpark the Aquadôme earlier this year, with the aim of catering to its clients through the colder months in addition to the summer season. Park World spoke to Amusement Logic, the creator of the new aquatic attraction, to find out more

New for 2018 is the Aquadôme, an indoor waterpark area with waterslides, which joins existing attractions to provide a year- round offering for guests. With a total area of 1,500 sq m, the waterpark delivers

entertainment for all the family, comprising a children's pool, waterslides for youngsters, and an adult pool with a swimming area, relaxation zone and supervised activities. In addition to the active spaces, a mezzanine with terraces and bar offers the opportunity to rehydrate or to observe friends and family enjoying the aquatic activities.


Year-round entertainment A key feature of the Aquadôme is its mobile cover, which can be opened or closed according to the conditions of the day. In the colder months, the water and air will be heated, the park has revealed, allowing the park to be operated and enjoyed in adverse weather – meaning the holiday season can be prolonged, and guest numbers increased. The new waterpark is situated next to and connected with the existing Tao Beach pool, and follows the same delicate

months is a success we are proud of. It’s a compliment to the [existing] leisure activities offered to guests by one of South France’s renowned campsites and it has quickly become the favourite attraction of families staying at the campsite. This success was to be expected, as the park already has different zones aimed at all kinds of people: a children’s pool for the youngest guests, slides for teens and a swimming and relaxation pool, along with a mezzanine terrace for adults.” Since its April debut, the waterpark has reportedly made a


significant impact, quickly becoming a family-favourite attraction for the campsite’s guests.


Based in the Spanish city of Valencia, Amusement Logic provides a varied range of services for the parks and attractions industry, ranging from initial project design through to execution and management. The company specialises in the design, planning, development and construction of hotel complexes, sports facilities, amusement parks and, of course, waterparks. As well as designing and building waterparks, Amusement Logic also provides specialist consultant advice and guidance in the project feasibility, as well as staff training.
