Park News www.parkworld-online.com Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord Six Flags Great America, Illinois

Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Texas is set to welcome the tallest and fastest spinning pendulum ride in the world, named after an iconic Super Villain; The Joker Wild Card delivers chaotic fun for thrill-seekers, towering a record-breaking 17-stories tall. The Zamperla Giant Discovery will reach speeds up to 80mph and become the centerpiece of a newly themed DC Universe area. The arrival of DC Super Friends has been announced

at Six Flags Mexico, Mexico City. Along with Bugs Bunny Boomtown, the colourful new additions will include 14 rides and attractions, including six new themed attractions for adrenaline junkies in training. Mexico’s Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Oaxtepec

will introduce the King Cobra water slide from Polin. The slide’s unique configuration enables two tubes to race through a circular path, snaking through enclosed and open sections of the slide before racing into massive mouth of the cobra. Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is set to unveil the world’s largest loop ride, Lone Star Revolution, which will

stand at 100ft and take riders for a loop before suspending them upside down. Riders travel in a unqiue “face-off” seating position, then swing through a series of 360º revolutions before reeling downward in the opposite direction. At Six Flags New England, Massachusetts, the

Cyborg attraction, inspired by the DC Super Hero, will be ready to ride in 2019. A Chance Rides’ Free Style, the Cyborg dark ride invites guests to S.T.A.R. Labs to witness a new technological device when the sentient cybernetic system, called The Grid, hacks into the mainframe and takes control of the lab. Six Flags Great Escape Resort, New York will

rebrand its outdoor waterpark as Hurricane Harbor for the 2019 season, undergoing a major expansion to include two new family attractions: Bucket Blasters, a Zamperla Watermania, and Shipwreck Cove, an activity pool by Wizard Works Design Group. A new interactive kid’s area will open at Frontier City in Oklahoma City; called Timber Town. The area will

feature four attractions by Zamperla designed for little ones, plus new theming and re-imagined updates of the original children’s rides. Lovable characters like Bucky the Beaver, Hootie the Owl, and Bubba the Bear will also be on hand for lots of pictures. Pandemonium, a Zamperla Giant Discovery, is headed for Six Flags Over Georgia, becoming the centerpiece of the park’s new ScreamPunk themed area. The high-flying ride reaches speeds of 70mph as it whirls and whips above the Atlanta skyline. La Ronde, Quebec, will introduce Chaos, a new giant loop ride from Larson International. The seven-story loop sends riders through a series of multiple, adrenaline- charged revolutions before changing directions for even more eponymously dizzying thrills. Six Flags St. Louis, Missouri, will invite guests to the

new Supergirl attraction, which soars nearly seven-stories high in open-air vehicles. Drawing on DC Super Hero Supergirl’s powers, riders spin and tilt while suspended from the massive wheel, an Endeavour by Zamperla.
