G2E REVIEW
TCSJOHNHUXLEY unveils hot new trio for land-based sector at G2E
New Blackjack game, winning number display, and enhanced Roulette variant lead the line for company in Vegas
A
t G2E, TCSJOHNHUXLEY celebrated the recent signing of a global distribution agreement with game studio HITSqwad Interactive Gaming, for its Sweet
16 Blackjack game to go into land-based casinos.
Debuting at the event, Sweet 16 Blackjack is
an exciting side bet game that is played in conjunction with the traditional blackjack game. It uses standard decks of cards and pays out if the player’s initial two cards add up to 16, with the “Sweet 16” coming from Ace of Hearts and 5 of Hearts. There are three other pay-outs that include
a Suited 16, a Same Color 16 and a Mixed Color 16. Other than for collections and pay-outs it does not slow down the game and more importantly, it also does not affect how a player would normally play Blackjack. The Min / Max bets for both Blackjack and Sweet 16 are independent and operators can set those as required. Tristan Sjöberg, Executive Chairman TCSJOHNHUXLEY, commented: “Sweet 16 Blackjack is a fun and easy to play game, offering a unique concept to players. 16 is not the hand you normally want to be dealt in Blackjack, but in this game you most certainly do! This makes Sweet 16 a true innovation, and we are really excited to be able to offer this side-bet game to our land-based casino partners around the world.” Charl Geyser, CEO of HITSqwad, added:
“This is a milestone partnership for HITSqwad, marking our arrival in the land-based casino sector with one of the biggest names in the business, TCSJOHNHUXLEY. I am confident
that the game has the potential to become one of the world’s top Blackjack games, and we look forward to working with TCSJOHNHUXLEY to get the game out into as many regulated jurisdictions as fast as possible.” Elsewhere on the booth, the evolution of
Roulette Xtra was delighting operators in its latest iteration, which incorporates the company’s Blaze LED surface technology to enhance the player experience even further. Roulette Xtra is a live table game which combines the traditional game of Roulette with a thrilling random multiplier bet. Now the game has been further developed to incorporate Blaze so it displays unique ‘attract sequences’ and custom-themed animations, while also highlighting Roulette Xtra multiplier bets and winning numbers. TCSJOHNHUXLEY has long been known for winning number displays, with their latest additions on show at G2E. This included a new graphic controller that provides unlimited flexibility and control to operators. The new controller now allows operators to configure and manage their displays easily by selecting from predesigned templates or custom configurations without the need of technical support.
Utilising an industry recognised powerful
graphics engine, TCSJOHNHUXLEY’s winning number displays are now able to offer themed skins with animations that will draw a crowd and stand out on the gaming floor. Now it is possible to show content when and where the casino wants, such as the number of historical stats to be displayed, pay table odds, chip values and chip colours, various stats with the ability to change colourways, as well as including static or live media. The two new display skins debuting at the
show are the ‘Miami’, a vibrant, neon themed graphic and the ‘Sports’ featuring retro American College styling, demonstrating the vibrant impact these designs will provide and a taste of the future skins library that will soon be available. Tristan Sjöberg, Executive Chairman TCSJOHNHUXLEY, commented: “Our winning number displays have always provided great content and delivered results at a lightning speed, however changes to content have required technical assistance. The new graphic controller is a game-changer for operators as they will have unrivaled flexibility to manage and change their content, using our quick and easy application tool, with the added benefit of choosing from a library of vibrant and high-impact graphics, that visitors to the casino cannot miss!”
