ACQUISITION & RETENTION
Beyond data and into insight: the evolution of affiliate tracking
Elkin Castro, head of product for affiliate tracking PaaS company RavenTrack, shares how to cut through the ‘noise’ of data and turn it into actionable insights.
I
n the modern iGaming landscape, data is no longer a scarce resource. If anything, today’s operators are drowning in it; yet many remain starving for genuine insights. In a market that moves at breakneck speed, the traditional ‘high-level trend’ overview is not enough.
Through RavenTrack’s rich tracking data, we’ve been able to observe a fundamental shift in what operators need to stay competitive. It’s no longer just about seeing that activity is happening; it’s about understanding the why and the how in real-time. And this realisation sits at the heart of our latest platform evolution. The industry is moving away from clunky, legacy systems that require manual digging to find value. For an affiliate manager, every minute spent navigating an unintuitive interface is a minute lost that could have been spent optimising a high-spend campaign.
The stakes are high. Fast navigation allows managers to instantly spot a performance dip or a surge in “trash traffic.” In the world of CPA and RevShare, the ability to pivot instantly can save an operator thousands in daily leakage.
Beyond internal efficiencies, the quality of an operator’s dashboard is a powerful recruitment and retention tool. When operators provide their affiliates with ‘at-a-glance’ snapshots, it builds immediate, radical trust.
Affiliates who can see clear, real-time data are far more likely to prioritise that brand’s traffic over a competitor with opaque reporting. It transforms the relationship from a transactional one into a collaborative partnership with top-tier traffic sources.
NEW GEN DATA PRESENTATION In order to keep things fresh and future- proofed, RavenTrack is currently rolling out Phase 1 of our new dashboard application. The new dashboard is a foundational overhaul designed to improve the user experience across the entire RavenTrack ecosystem, including: • Sleek, modern UI – a revamped interface that prioritizes speed and seamless navigation.
• True mobility: – the platform is fully optimised for desktop, tablet, and mobile,
The dashboard is one of many tools RavenTrack provides for its partners
ensuring managers can protect their ROI whether they are at their desk or at an industry event.
• Instant insights – our new homepage features provide tailored snapshot statistics. For multi-brand operators, the ability to switch instantly between brands allows for a comprehensive view of individual performance without the need to run reports.
In addition to these changes, we’ve
prioritised tracking app performance by introducing new integrations with AppsFlyer and Adjust. These integrations ensure that mobile data is more than just a ‘blind install’ metric. Operators can now see deep player performance data, ensuring nothing is missed on the mobile side of the business. Looking ahead, we are also preparing a full overhaul of our click-tracking application for later this year. This will provide even greater reliability and the capacity to handle the massive traffic volumes our clients are now generating.
While “hey, we’ve got a new dashboard, come look at it!” might not sound like that big of a deal, the dashboard is one of many tools RavenTrack provides for its partners. We aren’t just providing a tracking platform; we’re providing the clarity needed to lead in a crowded market.
