Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Offi cer at Soft2Bet, said the concept combines betting activity with social gameplay to create a more consistent engagement loop for sportsbook users.
WinSpirit campaign highlights seasonal marketing approach
WinSpirit Casino has reported engagement growth following its ‘UnValentine’s Day’ campaign, which focused on player sentiment rather than traditional bonus-led promotions. Instead of using typical Valentine’s Day themes, the campaign invited players to vote in a poll identifying common seasonal clichés. Participation was rewarded with a small number of free spins, designed as a simple engagement mechanic. More than 5,000 players took part. The most selected option, chosen by 28% of participants, referenced the diffi culty of securing a restaurant booking, followed by humour around themed food and romantic music. WinSpirit said the campaign refl ects a broader strategy that focuses on emotional relevance and player insight as drivers of engagement rather than traditional promotional mechanics.
