A LOOK BACK – AND FORWARD

nanocosmos Oliver Leitz, Founder

2021 has been a big year for interactive live streaming innovations. For nanocosmos, this includes bringing several product enhancements to market that have allowed us to offer more features to improve player engagement to operators of online games. This includes extended analytics to provide insight data regarding live streaming performance as well as improved stream security. For the wider market, I think the most significant event has been the continued dominance of mobile play. But this has presented challenges for operators, especially when it comes to live casino and ensuring a seamless user experience when players are on the move. This is because of the changes to bandwidth - 3G to 5G to 4G - that can interrupt or even cut gameplay. This challenge has been met with the rise of new, innovative technologies.

Looking ahead, I believe next year will see the continued growth of interactive live streaming and we will help operators

leverage this through further enhancements to our products and in particular around the areas of analytics and security. For example, there will be a new feature for stream protection that gives more insight on possible attacks and helps mitigating misuse. I think 2022 will also see the importance of virtual communication remain high with interactivity in live streaming expected by consumers while mobile use will remain equally important. Operators should also expect a better quality of experience and quality of service, and providers will have to deliver this. Operators should no longer have to take a trial and error approach.

Spribe Shalva Bukia, Co-founder and Product Director

For sure the most important moment of the year was securing our Great Britain Gambling Commission licence, allowing us to make our full suite of content available to players in the UK market for the very first time. This really was a milestone for Spribe and for our flagship Turbo game, Aviator. Aviator is an increasing curve game that has proved to be huge hit with players in markets around the world, and to be able to debut it to players in the UK earlier in the year and then watch the high levels of engagement that it has subsequently enjoyed has been a real boost to the team and our belief that Crash games are the future of online gambling. We are really excited about launching Aviator with more operators and in more markets than ever before. Currently, we are live with more than 350 brands but will significantly increase that number over the coming 12 months as we look to secure licenses in additional jurisdictions as part of wider international expansion plans. Operators are still trying to engage the lucrative millennial and generation z

demographics, but to date have not provided them with a compelling enough reason to ditch other entertainment formats such as streaming and mobile games in favour of online casino. We believe that Crash games such as Aviator provide that reason. We are actually set to launch a new version of Aviator in 2022 as well as five new Turbo games that will come with a totally new package of designs and features. Finally, we launched our cutting-edge poker product with Adjarabet earlier in the year and will be rolling this our internationally in 2022. We are going to see the popularity of Crash and Turbo games continue to increase and especially among the millennial and generation z demographics. They deliver the fast-paced entertainment they are seeking, which is in then combined with social interaction and the chance to gamble on the outcome of games. Operators wishing to engage with this demographic absolutely must stock Crash games in their lobbies. If they don’t, they will be left behind the curve.
