A LOOK BACK – AND FORWARD

Glitnor Group David Flynn, CEO

There are so many that it’s hard to point at a single occurrence. People are the most important part of our journey and having grown our team by another 77 members this year, it’s been really exciting to see how each part of the business embraces new talent as we continue our rapid revenue growth over 100% YoY. Seeing their excitement as we announced that we won 2 awards at the SBC Awards last week, was really rewarding for me personally. We have such an amazing team. Where to start! Having the fastest growing brand in the Swedish Market, LuckyCasino, I’m really excited to see this brand develop further in Sweden and across further markets

ZingBrain Vladislav Artemyev, Co-Founder and CEO

The most exciting occurrence was definitely launching ZingBrain to the market, allowing online sportsbook and casino operators to make accurate recommendations for the very first time. This is something that is widely used outside of the gambling industry – think Netflix and YouTube – but is an area where we are – or at least have been – very much behind the curve. ZingBrain bridges this gap. It is an artificial intelligence engine designed specifically for the iGaming industry and allows operators to make a wide range of recommendations based on player data, behaviours and preferences. This in turn allows them to deliver a truly personalised experience to each player – something operators have not really been able to do to date. Seeing ZingBrain make its debut and

quickly help operators drive engagement, increase wagering activity and ultimately maximise the lifetime value of each player has been incredibly exciting. International expansion. We have ambitious plans to make ZingBrain available to operators in as many markets around the

world as possible. Now that we have proved our concept and product with our early adopters, 2022 is all about scaling. This means more operator partners and more market launches. Over the coming 12 months, we are going to see new products enter the iGaming space. These products will leverage cutting- edge technologies to allow operators to take the player experience to the next level. This will be achieved by new talent entering the sector and especially from a technological perspective. This new talent – and companies such as ZingBrain with bold ambitions to disrupt the status quo – will allow the industry to make strides in 2022.

as we expand geographically.I’m also really optimistic about the growth opportunities for our B2B brand, Swintt, both across existing markets in Europe, and in the US where we’ll be monetising our first deals as we enter, early next year. Overall, we will continue our path towards taking global leadership and

changing the competitive landscape for Game Studios, Game Operators and Lead Generation. After 18 years in iGaming, one thing is certain, change will be on the agenda. Even though there has been a lot of activity in the sector this year, I foresee much more MnA in the market than previously, especially when looking West and towards LatAm. Further US states regulating for iCasino and more opportunities for rapid growth for medium sized, fast moving businesses like Glitnor.

Hedgehog Cyber Security Peter Bassill, Founder

Javageddon in the first week of December was probably the highlight. The sheer range of businesses that found out they were exploitable from a piece of code that is, essentially, one of the building blocks of web services. The log4j vulnerability saw the security community not sleep from the 9th of December through to the 14th, burning hours without billing anyone trying to find fixes, identify who was at risk and inform them. Hundreds, if not thousands, of members of the security community gave up tens of thousands of hours to help fix all the issues. 2022 is going to be exciting. With the increase in covid, more and more people will

remain working from home and that is unlikely to change in 2022. The evolution of vulnerability discoveries has accelerated and is changing the dynamic of vulnerability reporting and disclosure. 2022 is going to bring a lot of more vulnerability disclosures, at a greater rate. The iGaming sector is one of the most proactive sectors to keeping their systems and applications safe. Seeing how they are going to adapt to the changing vulnerability lifecycle, along with the acceleration in evolution of regulatory controls is going to take some work and effort.
