QTech partners with Booongo and Fantasma

Tech Games, Asia’s fastest-growing games distributor, has struck a pair of new deals with two of the rising stars of casino igaming, Booongo and Fantasma Games. Integrating content from two of the most
innovative and creative online slots suppliers adds yet more muscle to QTech Games’ burgeoning platform, which is bringing the widest range of online games to Asia, from established names to the industry’s most exciting up-and- coming providers.
Among the games made available to its
operator partners via the deal will be Booongo’s latest releases Fruity Wild and 15 Golden Eggs, alongside Fantasma Games’ breakout hit Super Sumo. QTech Games’ CEO Jonas Alm said the two-fold announcement brings a new premium range to its existing portfolio as it continues to expand in Asian markets. Alm added: “After a hugely encouraging ICE 2018, it’s important to hit the ground running
with this timely two-fold announcement. Fantasma Games and Booongo are already reinvigorating the slots space with deeper gaming experiences. Combining three-dimensional virtual worlds with more conventional games is crucial to unlocking player engagement across all mobile platforms, so spotting their respective breakout talent was key to getting this thrilling combination on board.” Mobile growth in Asian gaming is growing in tandem with rising smartphone adoption rates; to this end QTech Games has recently released QT Play, the first mobile app tailor-made for the gaming industry, running technology that allows players to choose any game from any provider.
Relax Gaming partners with Pomadorro M
ulti-brand casino operator Pomadorro N.V. has agreed a content deal with innovative supplier Relax Gaming.
Malta-based Relax will initially supply its cost-effective new table games to Pomadorro, with further gaming content to follow soon after. Pomadorro’s casino brands, including Casino X
and Joy Casino will offer the titles, which feature detailed design and high-spec physics modelling, as well as a proprietary RNG engine. The Blackjack title allows players to be dealt three hands simultaneously, while Roulette boasts one of the most realistic ball motions on the market. A spokesman for Pomadorro, said: “Table games
have always been a staple of our online casino offering, with players continuing to support them across our various brands, so to integrate Relax’s
new titles will be a significant boost to our portfolio.” Patrik Österåker, Relax Gaming’s CEO, said:
“Pomadorro have various established casinos in multiple territories, and we’re sure our content will appeal to their players across the board. We’ve positioned our content at a competitive price point to kick-start partnerships with major operators like Pomadorro. Digitain signs deal with Genii D

Irish National Lottery operator hits out

remier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), which operates the Irish National Lottery, has called on the country’s government to ban
offshore companies that offer betting on draws. According to the Irish Sun newspaper, PLI has
met with a number of ministers to discuss the issue in an effort to establish a “legislative solution to prevent damage to the sustainability of the National Lottery and Good Cause Fund”. Companies that allow customers to bet on the outcome of a draw do not have to make a donation to good causes, but punters are still able to win jackpot prizes. The newspaper said PLI is pushing for a similar
law that is in place in the UK whereby bets on the national draw are not allowed. A spokeswoman for PLI said: “The National
Lottery is concerned at the growth of unregulated, offshore, bet-on-lottery operators over the last 18 months. The parasitic activities of these lotteries are posing a serious threat to the National Lottery, and in turn the millions raised annually for good causes. We urge the government to take urgent action to protect the National Lottery from this threat. The National Lottery was set up with the express purpose of raising funds for good causes. There is a loophole in the current regulatory environment which allows betting on the outcome of lotteries, and offshore betting companies – underwritten by insurance policies – are exploiting this loophole.” In response, a spokesman for Ireland’s for Public Expenditure said that it would be “engaging further” with PLI and the country’s gambling regulator “in respect of reviewing the impacts of these online betting websites on the Irish National Lottery and in examining any potential actions that could be considered to address these issues”.
